CC3-100

CC3-100

Unfilled, Medium Viscosity, General Purpose Potting Resin

CC3-100 exhibits a wide variety of excellent features found only in the highest quality epoxy resins. It is a medium viscosity, unfilled, resilient, transparent epoxy which can be cured at room temperature or with heat.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:
Epoxy Glass Lamination:  excellent wetting out properties
Thin Glue-Line Bonding:  no bulky filler to occupy space
Void-Free, See Through Castings:  medium viscosity, air released rapidly

ROOM TEMPERATURE CURE:
H-1 Hardener:

Offers a working time of 30 minutes. Cures in 6 hours at 25’ C or 30 minutes at 65’ C. Produces a tough, rigid resin with good dimensional stability. Do not heat cure if the mass exceeds 100 grams.

H-18 Hardener:

Offers a working time of 45 minutes. Cures in 24 hours at 25’ C or 2 hours at 65’ C. Produces a tough, resilient resin with good mechanical and thermal shock properties.

H-10LV Hardener:

Offers a working time of 3 hours. Cures in 24 hours at 25’ C or 3 hours at 65’ C.
Produces a variable hardness resin with excellent impact properties.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

Weigh out the desired amount of resin in a clean container. Add the hardener accurately by weight in the proper proportion as specified above. (ie. 14 grams of H-1 Hardener and 100 grams of CC3-100 for a total mix of 114 grams) Mix thoroughly. Use in a well ventilated area and avoid contact with eyes and skin.
