Thermally Conductive Epoxy
Cast-Coat, Inc. specializes in thermally conductive, electrically insulating epoxy and has been doing so for the last 45 years. Our aluminum filled system is widely used for the assembly of both fin bonded and folded fin heat sinks as well as cooling plates. We offer thermally conductive, electrically insulating adhesives, dielectric coatings and encapsulants used in the manufacture of power supplies and heat sinks. Cast Coat’s thermally conductive adhesives offer superior heat dissipation for a wide range of electronic applications.
Our thermally conductive polymer systems include adhesives and potting compounds. These products utilize highly conductive fillers and also provide outstanding electrical insulation. We have developed these conductive systems by formulating with unique combinations of fillers, particle sizes, and dispersion techniques. Cast Coat’s products are designed for the demanding needs of heat sink bonding and surface mount applications. Rapid heat transfer properties eliminate hot spots and the low epoxy shrinkage factor minimizes the risk of damage to fragile components, resulting in increased operating efficiencies. Available as a two part system which can be cured at room temperature or with heat.
